Jamilah bint Ubayy bin Salul al-Ansariyyah (may Allah be pleased with her), wife of Thabit bin Qays bin Shammas (may Allah be pleased with him)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا سَهْلُ بْنُ زَنْجَلَةَ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي سَمِينَةَ، قَالَا: ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غَيَّرَ اسْمَ عَاصِيَةَ وَقَالَ: «أَنْتِ جَمِيلَةُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) changed the name of Asiyah and said: "You are Jamilah."
