حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ الرَّمَادِيُّ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ أَبَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ، أَنَّهَا بَيْنَا هِيَ فِي نِسْوَةٍ مَرَّ عَلَيْهِنَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ قَالَ: «إِيَّاكُنَّ وَكُفْرَ الْمُنَعَّمِينَ» قَالَتْ: وَمَا كُفْرُ الْمُنَعَّمِينَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ: " لَعَلَّ إِحْدَاكُنَّ يَطُولُ أَيْمَتُهَا أَوْ تَعْنُسُ عَنْ أَبَوَيْهَا، ثُمَّ لَعَلَّ اللهَ يَرْزُقُهَا زَوْجًا ثُمَّ يَرْزُقُهَا مِنْهُ وَلَدًا فَيَغْضَبُ الْغَضْبَةَ فَكَفَّرَهُ فَيَقُولُ: وَاللهِ مَا رَأَيْتُ مِنْكَ خَيْرًا قَطُّ "
It is narrated from Sayyidah Asma' bint Yazid (may Allah be pleased with her) that she was with some women when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by them. He (peace and blessings be upon him) greeted them with salam, then said: "Beware of ingratitude for blessings." She said: "O Messenger of Allah! What is ingratitude for blessings?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Perhaps the period of one of you remaining a widow, or remaining unmarried at her parents' home, becomes long; then perhaps Allah grants her a husband and then grants her children from him; then she (the woman) becomes very angry over something and, being ungrateful, says: 'By Allah! I have never seen any good from you.'"
