Ubaydullah bin Umar (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Some of our companions told me that it is narrated from Sayyidah Asma' bint Umays (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to Asma' bint Umays for some need of his, then he went out, and she complained to him (peace and blessings be upon him) of her hardship. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "How will you fare when you are tested by a man for whom the rivers of the earth and its fruits will have been made subservient? Whoever follows him, he will feed him but lead him into disbelief, and whoever disobeys him, he will deprive him and withhold from him." I said: "O Messenger of Allah! The girl stays at the oven for a while to bake bread, and I almost fall into trial in my prayer; so how will we fare when that happens?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On that day Allah will protect the believers by the same means by which He protects the angels, namely glorification (tasbih). Between his two eyes - Kafir (disbeliever) (will be written) - which every believer will read, whether he can write or cannot write."
