حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ بْنِ نَجْدَةَ الْحَوْطِيُّ، ثنا أَبِي، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُهَاجِرٍ، وَعَمْرُو بْنُ مُهَاجِرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِمَا، «أَنَّ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتَ يَزِيدَ بْنِ السَّكَنِ بِنْتِ عَمِّ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ قَتَلَتْ يَوْمَ الْيَرْمُوكِ تِسْعَةً مِنَ الرُّومِ بِعَمُودِ فُسْطَاطِهَا»
Sayyidah Asma' bint Yazid bin al-Sakan (may Allah be pleased with her), who was the paternal cousin of Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him), killed nine men of the Romans on the day of Yarmuk with the pole of her tent.
