Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 20772 — I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say

Sayyidah Asma' bint Umays al-Khath'amiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Wretched is the servant who acts arrogantly and transgresses and forgets the Most High, the Compeller. Wretched is the servant who is miserly and struts about and forgets the Great, the Most Exalted. Wretched is the servant who is absorbed in play and remains heedless and forgets the beginning and the end. Wretched is the servant who rebels and oversteps and forgets the graves and decay. Wretched is the servant who seeks to deceive the world by means of religion. Wretched is the servant who deceives religion by means of doubtful matters. Wretched is the servant whom fear humiliates and drives away from the truth. Wretched is the servant who is led by greed. Wretched is the servant whose desire leads him astray."
