Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 20654 — I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbid

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ رَاهَوَيْهِ، أَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ الْأَحْنَفِ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، قَالَتْ: «سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنْهَى عَنِ الْمُثْلَةِ»
وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: «مِنْ ثَقِيفٍ رَجُلَانِ كَذَّابٌ وَمُبِيرٌ»
وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: «مِنْ ثَقِيفٍ رَجُلَانِ كَذَّابٌ وَمُبِيرٌ»
Sayyidah Asma bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbid mutilation (of corpses)."
"And I also heard him (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'From Thaqif two men will emerge, a liar and a destroyer.'"
