Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 20633 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: O

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْخَلَّالُ الْمَكِّيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ الْعَدَنِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، ثنا أَخُو الزُّهْرِيِّ، أَخْبَرَنِي مَنْ سَمِعَ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، تَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «يَا مَعْشَرَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ، لَا تَرْفَعِ امْرَأَةٌ رَأْسَهَا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَرْفَعَ الْإِمَامُ رَأْسَهُ» مِنْ ضِيقِ ثِيَابِ الرِّجَالِ "
Sayyidah Asma bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O believing women! Let no woman raise her head before the imam raises his head." This was because of the scantiness of the men's garments.
