Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 2062 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Will you

حَدَّثَنَا أَسْلَمُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثنا تَمِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْتَصِرِ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، ثنا أَبُو جَنَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي تَمِيمَةَ الْهُجَيْمِيِّ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَلَا تَصُفُّونَ كَمَا تَصُفُّ الْمَلَائِكَةُ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ؟» قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَكَيْفَ تَصُفُّ الْمَلَائِكَةُ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ؟ قَالَ: «يُتِمُّونَ الصُّفُوفَ الْمُقَدَّمَةَ وَيَتَرَاصُّونَ فِي الصَّفِّ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Will you not form rows as the angels form rows in the presence of their Lord?" The Companions said: O Messenger of Allah, how do the angels form rows in the presence of their Lord? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "They complete the front rows and stand close together in the row."
