Abu Wa'il from Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 20242 — she said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدٌ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ شَقِيقٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِذَا حَضَرْتُمُ الْمَرِيضَ أَوِ الْمَيِّتَ فَقُولُوا خَيْرًا، فَإِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ يُؤَمِّنُونَ عَلَى مَا تَقُولُونَ» ، قَالَتْ: فَلَمَّا مَاتَ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ قَدْ مَاتَ، فَقَالَ: «قُولِي اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلَهُ وَأَعْقِبْنِي مِنْهُ عُقْبَى حَسَنَةً» فَفَعَلْتُ، فَأَعْقَبَنِي اللهُ مَنْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِنْهُ مُحَمَّدًا صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you are present with a sick person or a deceased person, say good things, for the angels say Amin to what you say." Then when Abu Salamah died, I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! Abu Salamah has died. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Say: O Allah, forgive me and him, and grant me a good replacement in his place." I did so, and Allah granted me one better than him: Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
