Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 2019 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: For one

حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ، ثنا نَاصِحٌ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَأَنْ يُؤَدِّبَ أَحَدُكُمْ وَلَدَهُ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَتَصَدَّقَ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ بِنِصْفِ صَاعٍ عَلَى مَسَاكِينَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "For one of you to discipline his child is better for him than giving half a sa' in charity to the poor every day."
