حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ النَّرْسِيُّ، قَالَ: ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ، ثنا أَبِي، عَنْ جَدِّي، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْعَلَّافُ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْتَيْقَظَ مِنْ مَنَامِهِ وَهُوَ يَسْتَرْجِعُ، فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا شَأْنُكَ؟، قَالَ: «طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي يُخْسَفُ بِهِمْ فَيُبْعَثُونَ إِلَى رَجُلٍ فَيَأْتِي مَكَّةَ فَيَمْنَعُهُ وَيُخْسَفُ بِهِمْ مَصْرَعُهُمْ وَاحِدٌ وَمَصَادِرُهُمْ شَتَّى إِنَّ مِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَكْرَهُ فَيَجِيءُ مُكْرَهًا»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) woke from his sleep while saying "Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un (We belong to Allah and to Him we return)." I said: O Messenger of Allah, what is the matter? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A group from my Ummah will be swallowed up by the earth. They will be sent against a man, and he will come to Makkah and it will protect him, and they will be swallowed up. The place of their destruction will be one, but their places of (being raised and) return will be different. Among them will be some who dislike it, but they come under compulsion."
