حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ نَاجِيَةَ، وَأَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بَكْرٍ السِّرَاجُ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبَانَ، ثنا عَنْبَسَةُ، عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ حَكِيمٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ «يُصَلِّي بَعْدَ وِتْرِهِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray two rak'ahs sitting after his witr.
