حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْعَلَّافُ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ، ثنا أَبِي، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْأَهْوَازِيُّ، ثنا كَثِيرُ بْنُ يَحْيَى صَاحِبُ الْبَصْرِيِّ، قَالُوا: ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الزَّنْجِيُّ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ أُمِّ كُلْثُومٍ بِنْتُ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ: لَمَّا دَخَلَ بِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «يَا أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ إِنِّي قَدْ أَهْدَيْتُ لِلنَّجَاشِيِّ مِسْكًا وَحُلَّةً وَلَا أَرَاهُ إِلَّا قَدْ مَاتَ، وَلَا أَرَى هَدِيَّتِي إِلَّا سَتُرَدُّ إِلَيَّ» ، قَالَتْ: وَكَانَ كَمَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَعْطَاهُ نِسَاءَهُ أُوقِيَّةً، وَأَعْطَانِي سَائِرَ الْمِسْكِ وَالْحُلَّةَ
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her); she said: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) brought me (as a bride) to his home, he said: "O Umm Salamah, I sent musk and a suit of clothes as a gift to the Negus (al-Najashi), and I think he has passed away, and I think my gift will be returned to me." She said: And it happened just as the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had said. He (peace and blessings be upon him) gave each of his wives an uqiyah of musk, and gave me the rest of the musk and the suit of clothes.
