Additions to the hadith of Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 19701 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Fast
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدٌ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ الْحُرِّ بْنِ صَبَاحٍ، عَنْ هُنَيْدَةَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْخُزَاعِيِّ، عَنِ امْرَأَتِهِ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «صُمْنَ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ، أَوْ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ الِاثْنَيْنِ وَالْخَمِيسَ، وَالْخَمِيسَ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Fast three days of every month, or, in the month, Monday and Thursday, and the Thursday that follows it."
