Sayyidah Asma' bint Yazid bin al-Sakan (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: It was I who adorned Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) until I brought her to him (peace and blessings be upon him). When she came to him (peace and blessings be upon him), a vessel of milk was brought to us. the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) drank from it, then he gave it to Aishah, but she turned her face away. I said: Take it from the hand of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). So she took it from him (peace and blessings be upon him) and drank, then she gave it to me and I drank, and I began turning the vessel so that I might drink from the very spot from which the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had drunk. Then I gave it to a woman who was with me, and she said: I have no desire for it. At this the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not combine a lie and hunger."
