حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ، ح وحَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ حَفْصٍ السَّدُوسِيُّ، ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ثنا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ الزُّرَقِيِّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا قَتَادَةَ يَقُولُ: «بَيْنَا نَحْنُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ جُلُوسٌ خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَحْمِلُ أُمَامَةَ بِنْتَ أَبِي الْعَاصِ عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ فَصَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهِيَ عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ إِذَا قَامَ حَتَّى قَضَى صَلَاتَهَ»

Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We were sitting in the mosque when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came out to us, carrying Umamah bint Abi al-As on his (peace and blessings be upon him) shoulder. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed while she was on his (peace and blessings be upon him) shoulder whenever he stood, until he (peace and blessings be upon him) completed his prayer.
