Sayyiduna Abu Ra'itah bin Karamah al-Madhhiji (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We were with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "These people are travellers. Let no stray animal from among these livestock accompany you, meaning lost animals, and let none of you go along with a lost animal, and do not turn away a beggar empty-handed, if you want profit and safety. And if you believe in Allah and the Last Day, let there not be with you, from among the people, a male sorcerer or a female sorcerer, a male soothsayer or a female soothsayer, a male astrologer or a female astrologer, a male poet or a female poet. And every punishment with which Allah wishes to punish any of His servants, He sends it to the lowest heaven. So I forbid you from disobeying Allah at night."
