حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ نَصْرٍ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ التِّرْمِذِيُّ، ثنا بَكْرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ، ح، وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْخَلَّالُ الْمَكِّيُّ، ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، قَالَا: ثنا زِيَادُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمِ بْنِ مَطِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي الشُّمُوسِ الْبَلَوِيِّ، «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى أَصْحَابَهُ يَوْمَ الْحِجْرِ عَنْ بِئْرِهِمْ فَأَلْقَى ذُو الْعَجِينِ عَجِينَهُ وَذُو الْحَيْسِ حَيْسَهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu al-Shumus al-Balawi (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the day of al-Hijr, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade his Companions from their well. So whoever had kneaded dough threw it away, and whoever had hays (a dish of dates, butter and curd) threw it away as well.
