حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا ضِرَارُ بْنُ صُرَدٍ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى أَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَاضِنِ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَ: «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعَائِشَةَ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ نِصْفُهُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَنِصْفُهُ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ»
Sayyiduna Abu Abd al-Rahman (may Allah be pleased with him), who was the guardian (hadin) of Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) in a single garment, half of it over the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and half over Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her).
