حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ رَاشِدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ مُرَّةَ، قَالَ: خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَدُعِينَا إِلَى طَعَامٍ، فَإِذَا الْحُسَيْنُ يَلْعَبُ فِي الطَّرِيقِ، فَأَسْرَعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَامَ الْقَوْمِ، ثُمَّ بَسَطَ يَدَيْهِ فَجَعَلَ حُسَيْنٌ يَمُرُّ مَرَّةً هَهُنَا وَمَرَّةً هَهُنَا يُضَاحِكُهُ حَتَّى أَخَذَهُ فَجَعَلَ إِحْدَى يَدَيْهِ فِي ذَقَنِهِ وَالْأُخْرَى بَيْنَ رَأْسِهِ وَأُذُنَيْهِ، ثُمَّ اعْتَنَقَهُ وَقَبَّلَهُ، ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «حُسَيْنٌ مِنِّي، وَأَنَا مِنْهُ أَحَبَّ اللهُ مَنْ أَحَبَّهُ الْحَسَنُ وَالْحُسَيْنُ سِبْطَانِ مِنَ الْأَسْبَاطِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ya'la bin Murrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: We set out with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and we were invited to a meal. Meanwhile, Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) was playing in the road, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) hurried ahead of the people, then spread out his hands. Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) was running now this way and now that way, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) was playing with him, until he (peace and blessings be upon him) caught him. He placed one hand under his chin and the other between his head and his ears, then embraced him and kissed him. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Husayn is from me and I am from Husayn. May Allah love whoever loves him. Hasan and Husayn are two of the grandsons (asbat)."
