حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، ثنا عَفَّانُ، ثنا وُهَيْبُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ النَّرْسِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي رَاشِدٍ، أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ يَعْلَى بْنُ مُرَّةَ، أَنَّهُمُ خَرَجُوا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى طَعَامٍ دُعُوا إِلَيْهِ، فَإِذَا حُسَيْنٌ يَلْعَبُ مَعَ صَبِيَّةٍ فِي السِّكَّةِ فَاسْتَقْبَلَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَامَ الْقَوْمِ، فَشَبَّكَ يَدَيْهِ فَطَفِقَ الْغُلَامُ يَقَعُ هَهُنَا وَهَهُنَا وَيُضَاحِكُهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى أَخَذَهُ، فَجَعَلَ إِحْدَى يَدَيْهِ تَحْتَ ذَقَنِهِ وَالْأُخْرَى فِي فَأْسِ رَأْسِهِ ثُمَّ اتَّبَعَهُ فَقَبَّلَهُ، وَقَالَ: «حُسَيْنٌ مِنِّي وَأَنَا مِنْ حُسَيْنٍ أَحَبَّ اللهُ مَنْ أَحَبَّ حُسَيْنًا حُسَيْنٌ سِبْطٌ مِنَ الْأَسْبَاطِ»
Sa'id bin Abi Rashid (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Sayyiduna Ya'la bin Murrah (may Allah be pleased with him) told him that they set out with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) for a meal to which they had been invited. Meanwhile, Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) was playing in the street with some children, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) went ahead of the people and came in front of him, and interlaced his fingers. The boy kept tumbling this way and that, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was playing with him, until he (peace and blessings be upon him) caught him. He placed one hand under his chin and the other on the top of his head, then bent over him from behind and kissed him, and said: "Husayn is from me and I am from Husayn. May Allah love whoever loves Husayn. Husayn is one of the grandsons (asbat)."
