Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 18589 — When I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الْبَاقِي الْأَدْنَى، ثنا الْمُسَيِّبُ بْنُ وَاضِحٍ، ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ الْحِمْصِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا وَحْشِيُّ بْنُ حَرْبِ بْنِ وَحْشِيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ: لَمَّا أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعْدَ قَتَلِ حَمْزَةَ تَفَلَ فِي وَجْهِي ثَلَاثَ تَفِلَاتٍ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: «لَا تُرِنِي وَجْهَكَ»
Sayyiduna Wahshi bin Harb (may Allah be pleased with him) said: When I came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) after killing Sayyiduna Hamzah (may Allah be pleased with him), he (peace and blessings be upon him) spat in my face three times, then said: "Do not show me your face again."
