Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 18304 — I said: I will surely watch the prayer

Sayyiduna Wa'il bin Hujr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I said: I will surely watch the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to see how he (peace and blessings be upon him) prays. So he (peace and blessings be upon him) stood and raised his hands up to the level of his ears, then took hold of his left hand with his right hand. Then when he intended to bow, he raised his hands in the same way, then placed his palms on his knees. Then he raised his head and raised his hands in the same way. Then he prostrated and placed his hands level with his ears. Then he sat, spread out his left foot, and placed his left palm on his left knee, then placed the edge of his right elbow on his right thigh, closed two fingers and made a ring. Then I saw him (peace and blessings be upon him) doing like this (pointing), and the narrator Zuhayr raised his index finger to demonstrate.
