حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَنْصَنَاوِيُّ الْمِصْرِيُّ، ثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، ثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ أَبِي السَّائِبِ، مَوْلَى هِشَامِ بْنِ زُهْرَةَ , عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ "
Abu al-Sa'ib (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Mughirah bin Shu'bah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution and wiped over his leather socks.
