Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 18139 — The sun was eclipsed on the day

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mughirah bin Shu'bah (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: The sun was eclipsed on the day that Ibrahim, the son of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), died, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The sun and the moon are two of the signs of Allah; they are not eclipsed on account of anyone's death or life. When you see them, hold fast to supplication until (the eclipse) clears."
