Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 17951 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said concerning

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثنا هِشَامٌ الدَّسْتُوَائِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ مُعَيْقِيبٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَا تَمْسَحْ وَأَنْتَ تُصَلِّي، وَإِنْ كُنْتَ لَا بُدَّ فَاعِلًا فَوَاحِدَةً» تَسْوِيَةَ الْحَصَا
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mu'ayqib (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said concerning levelling the pebbles: "Do not level (the pebbles) while you are praying, and if you must do it, then do it once."
