حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا مُعَلَّى بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ الْمَوْصِلِيُّ، ثنا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ مَخْرَفَةَ الْعَبْدِيِّ قَالَ: خَرَجْنَا مَعَ قَوْمٍ تُجَّارٍ يَبِيعُونَ الْبَزَّ وَمَعَهُمْ وَزَّانٌ يَزِنُ بِالْأَجْرِ، فَقَدِمْنَا مَكَّةَ فَاشْتَرَى مِنْهُمُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَرَاوِيلَ، فَقَالَ لِلْوَزَّانِ: «زِنْ وأَرْجِحْ»
Sayyiduna Makhrafah al-Abdi (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We set out with some merchants who sold cloth, and with them was a weigher who weighed for a wage. We came to Makkah, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) bought a pair of trousers from them and said to the weigher: "Weigh, and give generous weight."
