حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيِسِيُّ، ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْأَزْرَقُ، ثنا صَالِحُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ حَنَشِ بْنِ الْمُعْتَمِرِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ» يُصَلِّي عَلَى جَنَازَةٍ، فَجَاءَتِ امْرَأَةٌ بِمِجْمَرٍ تُرِيدُ الْجَنَازَةَ، فَصَاحَ بِهَا حَتَّى دَخَلَتْ فِي آجَامِ الْمَدِينَةِ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mu'tamir Abu Hanash (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was leading the funeral prayer over a deceased person when a woman came towards the funeral carrying a censer of incense, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) scolded her until she went into the thickets of Madinah.
