Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 17791 — A man passed by Sayyiduna al-Miqdam

Abd al-Rahman bin Maysarah (may Allah have mercy on him) said: A man passed by Sayyiduna al-Miqdam (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: "These two eyes that saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) have attained success." Sayyiduna al-Miqdam (may Allah be pleased with him) became intensely angry and said: "O people, do not wish for something that Allah has kept hidden from you."
