حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ كَعْبٍ الْحَلَبِيُّ، ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ حَرِيزِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ، عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِي كَرِبٍ، قَالَ: «رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ» تَوَضَّأَ، فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَسْحَ رَأْسِهِ وَضَعَ كَفَّيْهِ عَلَى مُقَدَّمِ رَأْسِهِ، ثُمَّ أَمَرَّهُمَا حَتَّى بَلَغَ الْقَفَا، ثُمَّ رَدَّهُمَا إِلَى الْمَكَانِ الَّذِي مِنْهُ بَدَأَ "
Sayyiduna al-Miqdam bin Ma'di Karib (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) perform ablution. When he reached the wiping of his head, he placed both his palms on the front of his head, then passed them back until he reached the nape of his neck, then brought them back to the place from where he had started."
