حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ الْقَطِيعِيُّ، ثنا الْمُفَضَّلُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ، عَنْ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمَّا افْتَتَحَ خَيْبَرَ، أَصَابَ النَّاسُ حُمُرًا فَانْتَهَبُوهَا حَتَّى عَلَتِ الْقُدُورَ، فَأَتَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقِيلَ: إِنَّ حُمُرَ النَّاسِ قَدْ نُحِرَتْ، «فَنَهَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ الْأَهْلِيَّةِ» ، فَجَعَلَ الرَّجُلُ يَكْفَأُ الْإِنَاءَ بِسُنَّةِ قَوْسِهِ وعَمُودِ بَيْتِهِ
Mu'awiyah bin Qurrah (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated from Sayyiduna Ma'qil bin Yasar (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) conquered Khaybar, the people came upon donkeys and plundered them, until the cooking pots were boiling with their meat. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was informed; it was said: The people's donkeys have been slaughtered. "So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade eating the meat of domesticated donkeys." Then a man began overturning the pot with the tip of his bow and the pole of his tent.
