حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ دُحَيْمٍ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، ثنا أَبِي، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ، قَالَا: ثنا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ، عَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ الْخَوْلَانِيِّ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ، عَنْ مُلُوكِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ؟» قَالُوا: بَلَى، قَالَ: «كُلُّ ضَعِيفٍ مُسْتَضْعِفٍ ذِي طِمْرَيْنِ لَا يُؤْبَهُ لَهُ، لَوْ أَقْسَمَ عَلَى اللهِ لَأَبَرَّهُ»
Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shall I not tell you about the kings of the people of Paradise?" The Companions said: Certainly. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every weak one, looked down upon, wearing two worn-out garments, to whom no attention is paid; if he were to swear an oath by Allah, Allah would fulfil it."
