Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 17014 — O Messenger of Allah, we ask one another

Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah bin Haydah (may Allah be pleased with him) relates: I said: "O Messenger of Allah, we ask one another for our wealth among ourselves?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes, a man may ask during times of strife (fitnah) for (settling matters) between himself and his people; then when he reaches the limit, or comes close to it, let him stop."
