حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَابِقٍ، سَمِعْتُ أَبَا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيَّ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ الْأَعْمَشَ، يَقُولُ: " لَوْ رَأَيْتُمْ مُعَاوِيَةَ لَقُلْتُمْ: هَذَا الْمَهْدِيُّ "
Al-A'mash said: "If you had seen Mu'awiyah, you would have said: This is the Mahdi."
