حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ حُجَيْرٍ، عَنْ طَاوُوسٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، يَقُولُ: هَذِهِ حُجَّةٌ عَلَى مُعَاوِيَةَ قَوْلُهُ: " إِنِّي قَصَّرْتُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمِشْقَصِ أَعْرَابِيٍّ عِنْدَ الْمَرْوَةِ، يَقُولُ: «حِينَ يَنْهَى عَنِ الْمُتْعَةِ»
Tawus (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I heard Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) say: This is a proof against Mu'awiyah, his statement: "I cut the hair of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) with the arrowhead of a bedouin near al-Marwah," while he forbids mut'ah.
