Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 16594 — from his father, Sayyiduna Muhammad

Urwah bin Muhammad al-Sa'di narrates from his father, Sayyiduna Muhammad al-Sa'di (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Three things, when you see them, then be on your guard: the ruin of what is inhabited, the building up of what is in ruins, jihad becoming merely a means of earning, and a man toying with his trust the way a camel rubs against a tree."
