Muhammad bin Hatib bin al-Harith bin Mamar bin Habib bin Wahb bin Hudhafah bin Jumah bin Amr bin Husays bin Kab bin Luayy al-Jumahi (may Allah be pleased with him); his mother was Fatimah bint al-Mujallil bin Abdullah bin Abi Qays bin Abd Wudd bin Nasr bin Malik bin Hisl, and she emigrated with him to Abyssinia

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ رَاهَوَيْهِ، ثنا أَبِي، ثنا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ، كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ حَاطِبٍ الْجُمَحِيَّ، قَالَ: انْصَبَّ عَلَى يَدِي شَيْءٌ مِنْ قِدْرٍ، فَذَهَبَتْ بِي أُمِّي إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ فِيهِ كَلَامًا: «أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ» ، وَأَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ: «اشْفِ وَأَنْتَ الشَّافِي»
Sayyiduna Muhammad bin Hatib al-Jumahi (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Something hot from a cooking pot spilled onto my hand, so my mother took me to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said some words over it: "'Adhhib al-ba's, Rabb al-nas' (Remove the harm, O Lord of mankind)!" And I think he (peace and blessings be upon him) also said: "'Ishfi wa anta al-Shafi' (Heal, for You are the Healer)."
