حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَاطِبٍ، قَالَ: وَقَعَتِ الْقِدْرُ عَلَى يَدِي فَاحْتَرَقَتْ، فَانْطُلِقَ بِي إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَكَانَ يَتْفُلُ عَلَيْهَا وَيَقُولُ: «أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ» ، وَأَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ: «وَاشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي»
Sayyiduna Muhammad bin Hatib (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The cooking pot fell onto my hand and it was burned, so I was taken to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He (peace and blessings be upon him) would blow on it and say: "'Adhhib al-ba's, Rabb al-nas' (Remove the harm, O Lord of mankind)!" And I think he (peace and blessings be upon him) also said: "'Washfi anta al-Shafi' (And heal, You are the Healer)."
