حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ، ثنا أَبِي، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ نَصْرٍ الطُّوسِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ، ثنا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، قَالَا: ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ: «أَنَّهُ صَادَ أَرْنَبَيْنِ فَذَبَحَهُمَا بِمَرْوَةٍ، فَسَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَمَرَهُ بِأَكْلِهِمَا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Muhammad bin Safwan (may Allah be pleased with him) that he hunted two rabbits and slaughtered them with a sharp stone, then he asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered him to eat them.
