حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مُصْعَبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، كُلُّهُمْ عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْخُرَاسَانِيِّ، حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ، بِسُوقٍ بِالْكُوفَةِ عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَة، قَالَ: جَاءَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا أَنْفُخُ تَحْتَ قِدْرٍ لِأَصْحَابِي، وَقَدِ امْتَلَأَ رَأْسِي وَلِحْيَتِي قَمْلًا، فَأَخَذَ بِجَبْهَتِي، ثُمَّ قَالَ: «احْلِقْ هَذَا وَصُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ أَوْ أَطْعِمْ سِتَّةَ مَسَاكِينٍ» ، وَقَدْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلِمَ أَنَّهُ لَيْسَ عِنْدِي مَا أَنْسُكُ بِهِ
Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to me while I was blowing on the fire under a cooking pot for my companions, and my head and beard had become full of lice. He (peace and blessings be upon him) took hold of my forehead and then said: "Shave this (hair) and fast three days, or feed six poor people." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) knew that I did not have anything to slaughter.
