It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saw (lice) crawling on his face and said: "Ka'b! I see that the lice of your head are troubling you?" He said: Yes, by Allah, O Messenger of Allah! He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shave your head and feed six poor people, or fast three days, or slaughter a goat."
