Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 16031 — from his father, Sayyiduna Qabisah bin

Qatan bin Qabisah narrated from his father, Sayyiduna Qabisah bin Mukhariq (may Allah be pleased with him), that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Taking omens from birds, drawing lines in the sand to divine, and superstitious pessimism are all part of sorcery (jibt)."
