Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 15854 — Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ got up

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زُغْبَةَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَازِمٍ، عَنْ شَرِيكِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي نَمِرٍ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ، عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: «لَمْ يَكُنْ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُومُ إِلَى صَلَاةٍ بِاللَّيْلِ إِلَّا اسْتَنَّ»
Sayyiduna al-Fadl bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: Whenever the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) got up for the night prayer, he would always use the tooth-stick (miswak).
