حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ السَّدُوسِيُّ، ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، ثنا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، ثنا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عَزْرَةَ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، «أَنَّهُ كَانَ رَدِيفَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ جَمْعٍ حَتَّى رَمَى جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ، فَلَمْ تَرْفَعْ رَاحِلَةٌ رِجْلَهَا غَادِيَةً حَتَّى رَمَى جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Fadl bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that he rode behind the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) from Muzdalifah until he stoned Jamrat al-Aqabah, and in the early morning his mount did not raise its foot (that is, it did not go at a fast pace) until he had stoned Jamrat al-Aqabah.
