حَدَّثَنَا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى الطَّبَّاعُ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو كَامِلٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ زُرَارَةَ بْنِ أَوْفَى، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى الظُّهْرَ، فَلَمَّا سَلَّمَ قَالَ: «أَيُّكُمْ قَرَأَ سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى؟» فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: أَنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، فَقَالَ: «قَدْ عَرَفْتُ أَنَّ بَعْضَكُمْ خَالَجَنِيهَا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) led the Zuhr prayer. When he gave the salam, he said: "Which of you recited 'Sabbih isma Rabbika al-A'la' (Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High)?" A man said: "I did, O Messenger of Allah." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I knew that one of you was contending with me over it."
