Muhammad bin Sirin from Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 15532 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Indeed
حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُقَاتِلٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، عَنْ زَيْدٍ الْعَمِّيِّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ اللهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُؤْمِنَ إِذَا كَانَ فَقِيرًا مُتَعَفِّفًا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah loves the believer who is poor and refrains from asking."
