ما روى الحسن عن عمران بن حصين قتادة عن الحسن عن عمران
Reports al-Hasan narrated from Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) — Qatadah from al-Hasan from Imran (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 15414 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had forbidden
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْجُذُوعِيُّ الْقَاضِي، ثنا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ: «نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْكَيِّ فَاكْتَوَيْنَا فَمَا أَفْلَحْنَ وَلَا أَنْجَحْنَ»
Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had forbidden us from cauterisation, but we had ourselves cauterised, and we neither succeeded nor prospered.
