It is narrated from Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no shighar in Islam, nor janab, nor jalab." (Shighar is that a man marries another man's sister on the condition that the other marries his sister, without a dowry; and jalab and janab related to wagering on horse races.)
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) disliked na'y (announcing a death) and forbade it, and was stern about it. And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever plunders is not one of us."
