حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيُّ، ثنا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ أَبِي حَسَّانَ الْأَنْمَاطِيُّ، ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، ثنا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَا: ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «طِيْبُ الرِّجَالِ رِيحٌ، لَا لَوْنَ لَهُ، وَطِيبُ النِّسَاءِ لَوْنٌ لَا رِيحَ لَهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The perfume of men is that which has scent but no colour, and the perfume of women is that which has colour but no scent."
