حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ الدَّسْتُوَائِيِّ، ثنا قَتَادَةُ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: وَهُوَ فِي بَعْضِ أَسْفَارِهِ وَقَارَبَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ السَّيْرَ، رَفَعَ صَوْتَهُ بِهَاتَيْنِ الْآيَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ أَبِي عَوَانَةَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), on one of his journeys, when the pace of his (peace and blessings be upon him) Companions had drawn close together, recited these two verses in a loud voice. Then he narrated a hadith like the hadith of Abu Awanah.
